The basis for this discussion is gotten from Numbers
chapters 13 and 14; where 12 spies were sent to spy out the land of Canaan; 10
came back with bad reports about the land but just two, Joshua and Caleb, came
back with positive reports, saying "We are well able to overcome the
land"(Numbers 13:30).
Now I ask, What is your report and confession about the
circumstance(s) or situation(s) you are facing? Would you join the majority in
giving bad reports and negative confessions? Or would you stand your ground,
trusting and believing God and seeing possibility/positivity in the
circumstances no matter how bad they may seem? Would you join the crowd in
saying there are no jobs in Nigeria, graduates leave school and remain jobless
or would you say "I know there is a job waiting for me once I leave
school, I will not be jobless"?
Death and life are in the power of the tongue(Prov. 18:21) ;
whatever you say and confess works for you. There are a lot of seemingly
"bad" circumstances in the economy of Nigeria and the world at large,
but I want to encourage you to always speak positive and see possibility in
all.
"When they say there is a CASTING DOWN, say there is
LIFTING UP".(Job 22:29). God honors His word, He brings to pass your
positive confessions and rewards you. (Numbers 14:24).
