Read this
post from a blog and decided to share with us.
"In
life, it's what you spend your time on, that you buy with your time." -
Myles Munroe
Imagine
there is a bank, crediting your account every morning with $86,400 but carries
over no balance daily. Every evening it cancels whatever balance of the amount
you failed to use during the day. What would you do? I would, race against time
and make sure I bought everything I could. Well, we all have such a bank, and
that it's The Bank of Life. Every morning, we're credited with 86,400 seconds.
Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this we failed to use. The loss
is ours if we do not use up our credited amount.
Myles
Monroe, put it so simply, when he said "In life, it's what you spend your
time on, that you buy with your time." It's very common to hear people
say, "I'm killing time",
When you
ask them what they're doing. In reality, you can't kill time. It's the other
way round. Just like Oxygen, time is a very precious commodity that life has
provided us with to do all we were born to do. Whatever you give your time to
you become. What do you give your time to?
Beloved, we
have come to realize from Myles Munroe's death and life that we are actually
racing against time. There's so much to do, and so little time to do them, and
if we ever plan on robbing the graveyard, or dying empty and finishing our race
that we're already running: whether we believe it or not. We have to jettison
our "laid back" approach to life and be up and doing. No one is
actually too busy to do more, there's always room for a little more. I want to
die knowing that, "it is finished" and that "I have finished my
course and run my race." I want to disappoint the grave. I want to rob it.
What about you?
Remain blessed and I love you.
