FULLY COVERED

We must have watched movies where when a man is about dying, he hands over his child or children to someone, most times a friend, whom he knows is capable and trustworthy enough to take care of his children when he is gone. Eventually when the man dies, the person who the child(ren) was handed over to takes the place of guardian and protector in the lives of the child(ren).

This same thing took place when Jesus was about leaving the earth. In John 17: 11-19, Jesus handed us over to God, to protect and shield us from the evil one. John 17:14-19 “I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.” (NKJV).

If a man, in his limited strength and inability to be everywhere at once can protect and provide for those entrusted in His care, how much more the Omnipresent God and the owner of the universe?

This morning, I have not come with so much words but to tell us that we are FULLY COVERED AND PROTECTED. We were handed over to the One that governs the universe, He is more than capable to keep and preserve us from whatever it is the enemies throw us at.

Our lives are hidden in Christ, Who is hidden God, we are more than secured. Col 3:3 “For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” (NIV)

Do not be troubled by the crisis and chaos going on around us, for we are shielded by an Impenetrable Shield. We are safe in His fortress.

Remain blessed and I love you.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BUY?

Read this post from a blog and decided to share with us.

"In life, it's what you spend your time on, that you buy with your time." - Myles Munroe

Imagine there is a bank, crediting your account every morning with $86,400 but carries over no balance daily. Every evening it cancels whatever balance of the amount you failed to use during the day. What would you do? I would, race against time and make sure I bought everything I could. Well, we all have such a bank, and that it's The Bank of Life. Every morning, we're credited with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this we failed to use. The loss is ours if we do not use up our credited amount.

Myles Monroe, put it so simply, when he said "In life, it's what you spend your time on, that you buy with your time." It's very common to hear people say, "I'm killing time",

When you ask them what they're doing. In reality, you can't kill time. It's the other way round. Just like Oxygen, time is a very precious commodity that life has provided us with to do all we were born to do. Whatever you give your time to you become. What do you give your time to?

Beloved, we have come to realize from Myles Munroe's death and life that we are actually racing against time. There's so much to do, and so little time to do them, and if we ever plan on robbing the graveyard, or dying empty and finishing our race that we're already running: whether we believe it or not. We have to jettison our "laid back" approach to life and be up and doing. No one is actually too busy to do more, there's always room for a little more. I want to die knowing that, "it is finished" and that "I have finished my course and run my race." I want to disappoint the grave. I want to rob it. What about you?

Remain blessed and I love you.

FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND

Came across this Footprint in the sand poem and would like to share it with us.

One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.
After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.
This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
“Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You’d walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I don’t understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me.”
He whispered, “My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you.”
- by Margaret Fishback Powers

When we walk, there are usually two sets of footprints but just one set is visible to us and that is ours; the invisible set is The Lord’s. For every step we take, He takes with us. It gets to a point in our lives where there is just one set of footprints, this is during times of difficulties.
In these times, in your lowest and saddest times, it usually seems like God is not there but be assured that He is always there. The only set of footprints in the sand is His as He carries you in His arms through the difficult times. For He will never leave nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

He walks with us and helps us understand where we are going, He walks with us when we are all alone. He is always there when your heart is filled with sorrow and despair, He carries you when you need a friend. Just when you think you have lost your way, He gives you strength to carry on.

Some Bible verses supporting this are:
Matthew 11:28 ~ “Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Deuteronomy 1:31 ~ “and in the wilderness. There you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place.”
Psalm 55:22 ~ Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.

I pray this post encourages us and gives us the assurance that He is always there, taking every step with us.

A song I listen to that also reminds me that He is always there is "Footprints in the sand by Leona Lewis". We could download the song.

Remain blessed and I love you.
